Ultimately, I understand what X-Force is trying to accomplish. There are people out there who really enjoyed the shallow pageantry of 1990s era comics, and that's perfectly fine. But for many of us, X-Force invokes a barrage of sour memories, all of them stemming from a period of publishing that actually managed to drive us away from the industry.
