Pak's point is the change in Caroline and on the surface it's pure happiness but underneath lies the dread of human nature. All this could get lost in the action and excitement but Pak punctuates this arc perfectly. The Eternal Warrior is fantastic storytelling with meaning and in the end heart. Far removed from the modern-day was the Eternal Warrior, Gilad and this was a story worth telling to show us a future that could be. Eternal Warrior #8 wrapped up Eternal Emperor surprisingly focusing on the emotional values rather than action, which I didn't mind at all. Now I just hope that with this over we can probably get some idea as to the real fallout from where the last story arc ended. It's just something you can't ignore. Read Full Review
This issue has a bittersweet conclusion, one that deserves mention not only because of its unconventionality but because of its noticeable confliction with the rest of the story, which focuses on triumph and protection. Unfortunately, the stories that I am looking for from Eternal Warrior, and was thoroughly enjoying in Harbinger are either going away or currently non-existent. For the first time I am feeling a little bit letdown from the publisher that I've been enjoying so much over the past few years, and afraid for my future relationship with it. Read Full Review
There are some great hints at a revelation at the end of this book, and it will be interesting to see where those would go. This feels decisive, but far too abrupt. And I'm not sure that I personally care to continue the journey. It was fun while it lasted, Eternal Warrior, but this is where I check out. Read Full Review

I will miss this series. Wish it didn't have go on hiatus so soon.
It's too bad that Eternal Warrior is going on hiatus, but even worse that it goes out on such a sour note. Not sure what happened, but the quality of this issue didn't stand up to the previous 7.
