With issue #14 Shadowman continues to elevate itself into one of the most improved and rapidly growing titles in Valiant's lineup. Milligan's direction gets darker and edgier with each issue and Jack's own internal battle with it's repercussions showcases the strength of this character, his complexities and where this is all leading. For fans of the darkness, horror, supernatural and depth a story like Shadowman can bring to the table do not pass on this title. By all indications, the best is yet to come. Read Full Review
Milligan and Roberto De La Torre have injected Shadowman with a new found energy that is infectious for longtime readers. Lapsed readers should come back on board and grab the first two issues of this run because the book is back on track, and anyone that is sleeping on this book desperately needs a wakeup call. Shadowman has me. I'll go long haul with this book, regardless of the route, as long as de la Torre and Barron keep doing what they are doing here. The vistas are so goddamn beautiful. Read Full Review
This issue of Shadowman did not work on multiple levels. The art looks choppy and imprecise, Jack is taken a weird direction that thrusted this into a dull setup issue. It is also disappointing to not see the supporting cast developed further under the pen of Milligan. Read Full Review

Alyssa pensa di poter salvare Jack, cercando di farlo innamorare, ma sia i fiancheggiatori che lo stesso spirito di Dox vogliono eliminare il ragazzo troppo pericoloso. Jack di per sé è stremato e non riesce più a controllarsi. Interessante lo scontro con l'altro Loa.
