Ok being on the fence about Shadowman" this issue has me now. I feel that finally the switches between creative teams are starting to pay off. I would say pick up this issue you don't need the previous two to get into the action here. This is the best Shadowman I have read so far. Read Full Review
This is the Milligan and De La Torres best issue yet. They seem to be finding a groove together and this is just their first arc. Milligan is doing a great job of humanizing Jack and also giving us good scares along the way. A great issue and a must read. Read Full Review
Shadowmans new direction has done the character wonders. Jack Bonifaces struggle against his history and his inheritance is an eerie turn away from his dark superhero beginnings. This is a series well worth picking up. Read Full Review

Coming off of Shadowman 13's jump on point, I can safely say that issue #15 was the best from the creative team yet. The issue is able to continue creating a cinematic-like experience for a setting I very much know and love. While Peter Milligan's dialogue can sometimes be choppy and his plot predictable for Shadowman #15, his captivating dialogue from the voodoo loa, great pacing, and interesting plot points and development easily overshadow the flaws. I'm not sure what Valiant's new Shadowman was like before Peter Milligan got his hands on it, but I do hope that when he leaves someone can point this book in a better direction. This is the first Valiant book I have zero interest in reading next month. I was hoping I could end my review with a line like "the insane mind of Milligan is back!" or "Shadowman is the must-read Valiant everyone is talking about!" but I simply can't. Skip this one for now and buy some of the better titles of the company is offering. Read Full Review
It's just a shame that the rest of it reads so rough, and I feel like my idea that this arc has been a bust is validated by the fact that the upcoming "End Times" mini is supposed to already act as a new jumping on point in Milligan's run. Le sigh. Read Full Review
Lotta intestina fra Jack ed il Loa che lo spinge a non fidarsi di nessuno, eppure Il ragazzo ascolta Alyssa che a sua volta viene ingannata dai fiancheggiatori che faranno di tutto per uccidere Jack. Precedentemente il ragazzo cerca di affrontare i demoni del passato, invano, anche se ha capito che in qualche modo potrebbe essere quella la sua ancora di salvezza. Alyssa sta x soccorrere Jack. Disegni azzeccati e storia sempre più interessante! Ottimo issue.
