This series needs far more attention than it's getting right now. It accurately shows the struggles of a family while having me completely enthralled. Being able to keep up with three different post-apocalyptic scenarios is not easy. Let alone make all of them compelling. Read Full Review

There's a lot going on with everyone and Andry and Aragon are bringing it together with a good sense of momentum behind it. Each situation has something that's bad in the wings that could come in and ruin everything at any time and that keeps the thing pretty tense. I'm definitely enjoying Andry's pacing and character development as Paxton and the rest are coming along well. And I'm digging Aragon's artwork a whole lot as it has a kind of rough edge and vibe that I really enjoy for books like this. It's got some great layouts and smooth progression from panel to panel to tell the tale in a way that keeps it engaging with just about every panel. Very easily recommended. Read Full Review

Oddly, even though the book starts with an almighty fight scene, this issue feels like the calm before the storm.
The family unit has been separated, and are starting to all edge even further adrift. For all the disparate parties survival is beginning to mean very different things, and acceptance of the vagaries of this violent ravaged world could prove to be the undoing of some.
And just as I was wondering about a seemingly abandoned plot point from an earlier issue, it comes back into focus here adding further menace to the story.
