Things are beyond dire for the House of Dahomey, to the point where Erzulie must call upon the most grim and unforgiving of her sister-selves: Marinette of the Dry-Bones, rider of a pale horse and commander of werewolves!

Honestly, if someone wanted to pick up House of Whispers on issue 11, that would be a great plan. If you have not read this book before, now is the time to start. Do not feel compelled to go back to the beginning. In fact, I would not recommend it. This has all the elements of an excellent starting point. Read Full Review
Of all the Sandman Universe series, House of Whispers has been the hardest to latch onto, but the series continues to improve as we get to know these characters more and the story gains greater focus. Read Full Review
This series had so much potential and has some characters that are exciting. However a great potential story is sucked dry, like the spiders did in this issue, by a lack of focus and without consideration of how the reader can catch up. The Dreaming is an example of a complicated story written and presented right so that the readers follow.
I am sorry to the creators, because every other Sandman Universe book is great, but this one is just not good.
