Once again, I tip my hat to Lemire's artwork. In anyone else's hands, this story becomes just another huge sci-fi epic. Lemire's pencils are much more delicate, some might even say crude. It's a style that works uniquely for what Lemire does. It's not for his other titles, like Green Arrow " this style works only for his creator owned properties. Trillium is approaching the end and it has been a very innovative experience for us readers. With one issue left, it'll be interesting to see how this creative twist on a love story will end. We will have to hold tight and wait till next month to see what's in store for us readers. These past issues of Trillium have made for a compelling read every month, but it does make one wonder how will this series be collected once it's over? Another outcome we will have to wait and see. Trillium #7 feels like the calm before the storm. Something big is about to go down and it'll be shocking, but before then, it needs to take its time to setup and prepare for it. As such, this issue is not very exciting and leaves you questioning whether or not the book will be able to deliver on the ending with so little time left. I have hope for the finale of this mini-series, but it's going to have to step it up next issue for sure. Read Full Review

The series seems to be dragging on a little. The story could have been 4-6 issues, which would've made it short and sweet. Not much was done in this issue to advance the plot and the end is seemingly pointless. But I'm incredibly excited to see how it all comes together next month. Read Full Review

Lemire delivers a solid issue with some heart-touching moments that reveal more about the love shared between Nika and William, but this next-to-last chapter lacks the power expected from the author. It has its dramatic moments (but not in the expected fashion) and also has its fair share of stunning artwork.
