While I personally prefer Secret Origin over this, I can't deny that this origin story was better. I just like Mark Waid's writing for Lex Luthor, and how this has Clark Kent traveling across the globe trying to find his destiny. This is a must read for Superman fans, even though it later got retconned. This was the book that I felt man of steel took inspiration from
