The beginning is brutal, the comic does not decide at first between psychological terror and terror, little by little it brings us into terror. Despite the fact that art could be put on trial, however, this comic is going to do.
The ending is a bit cliche but it works. It's good, it catches you.
This book blew me away and felt like an instant classic in just the first few issues. Has all the elements that I look for in a great horror story from interesting characters, intriguing storyline, witches, pantheons, monsters, ghosts, suspense, and that a constant uneasy tension throughout. On top of that the art is just brilliant and compliments the story to perfection. Amazing character designs and expressions with a beautiful water color finish. I can’t recommend this book enough and had to leave this praising review before I dove into volume 2.
