Pepe Larraz‘s art elevates any story, even these cosmic shenanigans. It doesn’t hide the fact that we are getting yet another one of Peter Parker’s educational psychotherapy sessions. Plus, Peter once again is saved by a girl boss. I’m willing to overlook this bs when I can look at great art, but I’m sure we‘ll be back to wooden JRJR puppets next month. This series is so frustrating.

First of all, the most important thing about this book is that NO ONE WANTS TO KNOW ABOUT OR CARE ABOUT IT. The last few pages are even palatable enough to dispel all the nonsense about a transgender Hulk fighting monsters in Atlantis, and poor Namor is so overshadowed (used as a supporting character) that the whole scenario relies on the artist, who tries to be grandiose while living in the shadow of Joe Bennett. When this writer started writing Hulk, he achieved two printings in the first two issues, BUT after that, many lost interest, and not even Nic Klein was enough to make people keep buying to reach more printings. We already have guest artists involved, even though they (Marvel and the editorial team) are aware that these "artists" won't help, but rather give the regular artist (Klein) less time to do what he does best: create pseudo-magnificent art and the temporary euphoria it generates for a book that didn't even need a script. Just leave the artist there and that's it.

I've been following this decline of the Incredible Hulk (or if THIS is the Hulk) in its chronology monthly. And the feat it achieved was showing that all it took was for Ryan North to write ONE DECENT ISSUE OF A HULK MINISERIES for the book to sell without Marvel's plan to relaunch its titles.

It's a disgrace; Phillip Kennedy Johnson should be dancing a waltz with Al Ewing at an LGBT celebration to share on his X; it would be better than him trying to make this "Hulk" something impressive. more

One of the best issues of ASM published in the 21st century. If you think "real" Spider-Man stories can only take place in NYC, 1. I feel sorry for you and 2. There's literally over a thousand other issues you can read.

Spectacular writing and phenomenal art.

I loved this issue. So so much. What a blast. Thank you Joe and Pepe. I needed this.

And also, if you had told me one year ago that I would sing praises of ASM while being disappointed by USM issue after issue, I would've asked what you are smoking and if I could have some.

So many layers of comedy and inside baseball references in this one. As a huge fan of the X-Babies, Wonder Man, and Kraven - this book was clearly made for me. It earned it's 10 rating for the Rotten D'bari joke alone, but Baby Watcher and the on-target takedown of how the general public feel about Celestials were the collective icing on the cake!

I really liked this. Really really liked this. What a "succulent" issue of ASM.

I used to be one of the biggest Amazing haters back in the Zeb Wells era, but honestly I don’t get the criticism this time. This arc’s really good.

Great guest artist, amazing colors, and fun continuing dynamic between Peter and Rocket.
