This was a fun chapter that focuses heavily on Spider-Man's relationships with his new crew, particularly the friendship he's developed with Rocket Raccoon. Spidey is doing his best to help Rocket in this book, but of course, Rocket being Rocket, he's not exactly thrilled about it and resists at every opportunity. Their banter is sharp and entertaining, adding plenty of humour to the cosmic setting. Meanwhile, Spider-Man's continued collaboration with Dr Xanto as they work on ways for him to build his strength before returning home becomes a real sticking point for Rocket. Read Full Review
Peter's sacrifice of strength to help another in this issue is classic Spider-Man and why the character is so beloved by millions. You can almost always count on Peter to do the right thing. Kelly and Laiso both embody this iconic truth in their art and penmanship in ASM #15. Read Full Review
Amazing Spider-Man #15 is a win. It uses a wild, Guardians of the Galaxy-esque backdrop to force Peter to re-examine his core philosophy. It's a fun, surprisingly heartfelt, and thematically rich issue that reminds us that Peter's truest power is his unwavering sense of responsibility. Read Full Review
Kelly does a great job using the cosmic setting to create refreshing plot that includes dealing with what the new Spider-Man suit is made of. It makes you wish we stayed in this cosmic storyline and didn't get back to Earth until Peter decides to go back. Read Full Review
The Amazing Spider-Man #15 continues the galactic status quo with an exciting mix of action and moral quandary that builds upon Peter's internal struggle, alongside a growing complexity in his relationships with the cosmic side cast that promises more rich stories to come. Read Full Review
Amazing Spider-Man #15 blends cosmic chaos with heartfelt humanity in a way only Joe Kelly can deliver. Between Emilio Laiso's crisp, kinetic art and the surprising evolution of Spidey's new suit, this chapter offers both humor and visual spectacle while keeping Peter's emotional core intact. It's not the deepest entry in the run and Xanto's sudden redemption feels shaky but as a high-energy space adventure with heart, it's an easy recommendation for anyone who loves seeing Spider-Man out of his element and still swinging strong. Amazing Spider-Man #15 is a breather you never asked for; a leap into space weirdness that forgets both the Spider and the Man. Wonderful art can't patch the torn fabric of inconsistent writing, and readers are left with a soupy grab bag of cosmic clichs and squandered possibilities. If your comic pull list has any standards, this is one interstellar detour you do not need to take. Read Full Review
I used to be one of the biggest Amazing haters back in the Zeb Wells era, but honestly I don’t get the criticism this time. This arc’s really good.
Great guest artist, amazing colors, and fun continuing dynamic between Peter and Rocket.
I really liked this. Really really liked this. What a "succulent" issue of ASM.
Very mid.
I like the idea of this book. It has some good moments, it was fun, but it also felt pretty run of the mill for a spidey book.
The absence of Pepe Larraz makes it all too obvious that Kelly’s story is just not that interesting. This “succulent” Spider-Man sucks.
