Knuckles absolutely stole the show here. If it can get a genuine smile out of me, it's a good book. This whole arc has been solid.

This almost jumped the shark. We went from an 8 to and 11 real fast in terms of crazy stuff happening. Giant Dragon Metal Sonic is not what I had anticipated and while cool very nearly hits that mark of unbelievability. Especially this early into the run. But the saving grace for the issue is despite the immense threat everyone is still cracking jokes that feel natural and team-up issues like this more

It's funny, it's epic, it's impactful. The whole cast coming together for a big team-up to take down Neo Metal Sonic is everything you could want in a Sonic story. And now they have to contend with Super Neo Metal Sonic... Say that fives times fast.
