This doomsday story is good, and Lex Luthor is interesting in this book.
"PATH TO DOOM" Chapter Three: Clark Kent gets caught in the crossfire as Doomsday crashes through the streets of Metropolis! As Lois struggles to keep young Jonathan out of the path of destruction, can former enemies Superman and Lex Luthor stop the monster that once destroyed the city and killed the Man of Steel-or does Luthor have other plans?
August is a very interesting character, and the ending sets up more interesting story lines.
"LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE" Chapter Two: In issue #2, The Flash trains novice speedster August Heart to help protect the people of Central City from the Black Hole, a new breed of rogue with a deadly agenda for the Fastest Men Alive.
I am not a fan of alternating storylines, and it feels overly complicated. Overall the issue is good, with the Steve-Diana dynamic was interested.
"WONDER WOMAN YEAR ONE" Chapter One: Running parallel to Greg Rucka and Liam Sharp's "The Lies," Rucka and artist Nicola Scott weave the definitive and shocking tale of Diana's first year as Earth's protector.
This is an interesting new character, and New Batman and Wonder Woman should be intersting too.
"MADE IN CHINA" Chapter One: An impulsive act of heroism thrusts an arrogant young man into the limelight of Shanghai as China begins to form its own Justice League of powerful heroes. Rising from the ashes of The Final Days of Superman, award-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and on-the-rise art star Victor Bogdanovic introduce readers to Kong Kenan-t...

This is a solid issue, with the Black Manta arc closing, but then being continued. I'm interested to see where this goes.
"THE DROWNING," Chapter Two: In issue #2, unity between land and sea is Arthur Curry's greatest dream. But Black Manta has a dream too: to destroy everything Aquaman stands for, starting with the sea king's Atlantean embassy and everyone in it.
This has been an amazing series, and the story is very interesting. Green Arrow is well written, as well as Black Canary.
"THE DEATH AND LIFE OF OLIVER QUEEN" Chapter Two: In #2, Green Arrow is betrayed, broken and left for dead. He wakes up in a world where the once-wealthy Oliver Queen has no resources and only the faintest clue what's happened to him. Meanwhile, in a distant land, an old ally begins a quest to help the Emerald Archer in his darkest hour.
This was fine, but the series is the worst that rebirth has at this point. The two lanterns are interesting, but the story isn't. Also, the cover has nothing to do with the story.
RAGE PLANET Chapter Two: In issue #2, the world descends into rage! Crowds are rioting while Simon and Jessica find themselves powerless to stop the carnage. With their backs against the wall and no other options available, Earths rookie Green Lanterns take the fight to the Red Lanterns Bleez!
This Superman series has been amazing and John's character progession is amazing.
"THE SON OF SUPERMAN" Chapter Two: In #2, Superboy takes flight as he accompanies his father, the Man of Steel, on their first mission together to confront a creature more dangerous than anyone realizes. Will the duo triumph...or will they die when they face the lethal force of the Eradicator?
This was a solid issue, with Solomon Grundy appearing as well as Amanda Waller. Overall, good continuation of the story, as well as setting up future stories.
"I AM GOTHAM" Chapter Two: In issue #2, after a brush with disaster, Batman struggles to reconcile the fate he could be leaving behind for his city, and reaches out to the idealistic new hero, Gotham. But an evil is building that may overcome both Batman and his new ally.
Fun issue, but very little substance to the plot. Overall good, not great and we will see about the rest of the series.
Spinning out of the events of DC UNIVERSE: REBIRTH #1, a new day dawns for Earth's greatest heroes as they welcome three new members to the team, including...Superman? Who is this strange visitor from a dead world-and can he be trusted? Batman and Wonder Woman aren't so sure.
This was one of the best first issues of the rebirth books. I loved Lex Luthor claiming to be superman and a real superman calling him out on it.

WARNING: Do NOT read this issue until after you read DC UNIVERSE: REBIRTH #1!
