This issue continues the pace set by the first issue of this crossover with Wolverine. Percy is the master of horror in comics.
Ghost Rider #17
GHOST RIDER/WOLVERINE: WEAPONS OF VENGEANCE Part Two!
BLAZE and LOGAN investigate a series of ritualistic deaths involving mutants!
Rated T+
Kudos to Chip and Marco for an emotional finale. It touched me personally having lost my mother at a young age and the conversations between the characters hit me like a brick. Loved every single panel. What an incredible epic story. Definitely one of the best runs in Daredevil history.
Daredevil #14
THE END! But of what? A life? A love? A marriage? Matt Murdock's time as Daredevil? Or the latest and greatest run in one of Marvel's most celebrated sagas? All of the above?
Rated T+
There was A LOT GOING ON in this issue. It really felt overstuffed and rushed. I enjoyed some parts of the issue and it has piqued my interest to at least stay around for next issue.
Uncanny Avengers #1
The FALL OF X calls for the return of the Avengers' Unity Squad! Innocent people and world leaders are dead after simultaneous attacks on the U.S. and Krakoan governments, and that means one thing: It's time for a new squad of Avengers. False-flag attacks meant to whip up anti-mutant hysteria are unfolding, and hey, some of Steve Rogers' best frien...
No offense to the creative team. This just isn’t my thing. I find Madelyne Pryor a one dimensional character and never enjoyed her appearances. The only time I enjoyed her appearance was in Mutant X which was a great series. So, I’m sad to say that I’m jumping off this title and will not be reading any more issues besides the #1.
Dark X-Men #1
WELCOME TO THE DARK X-MEN? HOPE THE WORLD SURVIVES THE EXPERIENCE! Following the explosive events of the Hellfire Gala, MADELYNE PRYOR realizes the world needs the X-Men now more than ever. HAVOK and GAMBIT have served on the team before... but never one that looks like this! And how does GIMMICK, breakout star of MARVEL'S VOICES: PRIDE, fall under...
What a great issue! Awesome job by Waid and Moore taking us down a trip through memory lane. I was concerned that this would not be a good story but I enjoyed the entire issue. Waid is killing it with this title. I shouldn’t expect any less from him as he is a proven talented writer.
Batman / Superman: World's Finest #18
Think you know how Superman and Batman met and became friends? Think again! Read the untold tale of how their worlds first collided-and the stunning, secret loss that nearly destroyed their partnership before it even began!
I’m not following the Dark Droids storyline as it doesn’t really grab my attention. However, I thoroughly enjoyed this tie-in issue with its focus on Lando and Lobot. I never really knew much about their relationship so it was refreshing to see some history. Plus, I didn’t need to be reading Dark Droids in order to follow the story. Well done team!!
Star Wars #37
LOBOT LOST! - A DARK DROIDS TIE-IN!
Something has gone horribly wrong with LOBOT, putting the REBELLION at terrible risk! LANDO CALRISSIAN will do anything to save his friend, even if it means betraying the REBELS. Will the SCOURGE OF THE DROIDS destroy any chance to cure Lobot, or will he be lost forever?

After a rough last issue, this title rebounded this week in a big extra sized way!! I thoroughly enjoyed the main story and the numerous backups giving us a glimpse of future storylines. Wells is still at a monthly hit or miss in my eyes but when he hits, he hits. Kudos and hope he can maintain the momentum!!
Amazing Spider-Man #31
SPECIAL OVER-SIZED ISSUE!
IT'S THE WEDDING OF THE YEAR!
Peter Parker is the best man, and Tombstone is walking the bride down the aisle! That's right - Janice Lincoln and Randy Robertson are tying the knot, and there's NO WAY all the crime bosses in NYC aren't seeing this as an opportunity to off Tombstone. This story sets up our big Spid...
The Fall of X continues to maintain its quality pace throughout all books so far. Gilles never disappoints and this issue begins his arc of this epic storyline. I’m all in and excited about the XMen for the first time in a long time.
Immortal X-Men #14
TO ME, MY NO ONE. Xavier had a dream. Now he has nothing. This is the Fall of X. He fell. He fell furthest.
Rated T+
Maybe it’s I always expect Miles Morales to be exceptional but Ziglar’s run isn’t up to par with previous writers and volumes. Don’t get me wrong. I’m still enjoying Miles but it’s not a must read for me every month.
Miles Morales: Spider-Man #9
Look for more information on this title in future issues of Marvel Previews.
I continue to enjoy MacKay’s and Villa’s awesome arc!! Love the new villains and their respective powers. It’s really refreshing to see the new team dynamics pan out against foes they have no clue about. Also, the surprise ending has me anticipating next issue. I’m telling you this is the Avengers that I sorely missed. The previous volume was not what I expected or wanted at all. The Avenger more
Avengers #4
Battle is joined as the Avengers race to combat the Ashen Combine. But with Lord Ennui, the Citysmith, Idol Alabaster, the Dead and Meridian Diadem scattered across the planet, each with their own city for prey, have the Avengers spread themselves too thin? United, the Avengers stand. But divided...?

What a way to start a crossover! Percy’s writing is almost perfect and this is the first time I’ve seen Shaw’s art!! Wow!! Outstanding!!! Can’t wait for the next chapter!!
Ghost Rider / Wolverine: Weapons of Vengeance: Alpha
LOGAN & BLAZE - THE WEAPONS OF VENGEANCE!
LOGAN's the best there is at what he does - and what he does as the deadly WOLVERINE isn't very nice. When innocent blood is spilled, JOHNNY BLAZE becomes the GHOST RIDER, equipped to deal punishment with the power of hellfire! A demonic serial killer is murdering innocent mutants. But what is it about...
I’m usually not a fan of annuals since the stories and art are usually subpar. However, I was ecstatic to read how enjoyable this issue was with Williamson’s writing and the art team. Strong throughout and leads right into the next epic storyline and it looks awesome. Kudos.
Superman Annual: 2023
Lois Lane is now editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, but at heart she'll always be an investigative reporter. And lately Metropolis has had a whole new set of secrets she must uncover. Even if it means investigating her own husband...Superman! Featuring Livewire, Parasite, and Mercy, this special issue is your next big puzzle piece leading to a ma...
After an incredible issue #25, MacKay takes a downturn to the action and focuses on Hunter’s Moon. The dialogue between Andrea and Badr is interesting but the issue as a whole feels like a sudden shift to the action packed issues I’ve been used to. It’s Mackay’s fault for spoiling me. Overall my score is based on this issue alone and not the series as my enthusiasm hasn’t diminished whatsoever.
Moon Knight #26
While Moon Knight is dealing with the apocalyptic events of MOON KNIGHT #25, what of Hunter's Moon? Khonshu's faithful Fist leads new converts to war, but how exactly was his most recent resurrection flawed, and does this new weakness spell doom for Dr. Badr? PLUS: A bonus page written by Jonathan Hickman - WHO ARE THE G.O.D.S.?
What can I say? The dynamic team of Duggan and Caselli can do no wrong. I’m excited about the X-Men for the first time in a loooog time. There are true ramifications from the Hellfire Gala and The Fall of X arc looks to change things radically for our mutants. Exciting storyline and art as all plot lines in different titles are converging into an awesome EPIC EXPERIENCE!!!
X-Men #25
THE FALL.
She's been known as Kitty, Sprite, Ariel, Red Queen and Captain Kate. Now, as a new X-Men team finds their way through their darkest hour...SHADOWKAT emerges!
I just don’t get it. I am an FF fan but this volume doesn’t do it for me. It’s been boring and it’s not for me.
This title is dangerously close to dropping off my read list.
Fantastic Four #10
Thousands of years ago, a desperate alien race built a colossal sleeper ship - an ark - to escape their dying sun, setting a course toward a new and distant world. A single volunteer was to be awakened from stasis every hundred years to serve as their protector and caretaker, before finally training the next one. But something has gone horribly wro...
I usually hate stand alone issues as they are mostly filler and unentertaining. But, boy, MacKay con do no wrong. Not only did this issue surprise me but it leads directly into the next story arc. Way to go!
Doctor Strange #6
Many years ago, Doctor Strange fought in a five thousand-year battle called the War of the Seven Spheres. But what was it? And how did it create the mysterious threat that plagues Strange today? PLUS: A bonus page written by Jonathan Hickman - WHO ARE THE G.O.D.S.?
I really enjoyed Taylor’s 6 issue miniseries. It was a fun little detour for Jon Kent’s storyline and I enjoyed it. Does this storyline have any impact on the DC All In era? Probably not but kudos to Taylor for an entertaining story.
Adventures of Superman: Jon Kent #6
It's Batman versus Superman. Super Son versus Super Son. Injustice Superman is ruling with a fist of steel. Can Jon Kent free an entire world? And what could he lose if he tries?
Meh…this issue didn’t blow me away in any aspect. Some closure to the Beast storyline but nothing to write home about.
Wolverine #35
WEAPONS OF X CONCLUSION! WOLVERINE. BEAST. Only one of 'em's left standing after these CLONE WARS. And it ain't no clone. The brutal finale of Wolverine's CLONE SAGA sets the stage for LOGAN's next journey and presages things to come for KRAKOA!
Rated T+
Man, I’m bummed. I really enjoyed last issue but this issue was not good. What could’ve been an interesting turn of events for Norman Osborn ended up a ridiculous ending. I love Spidey and I only keep reading because he’s one of my favorite characters. However, Wells needs to turn this sinking ship around quick or I’m jumping ship until a new writer comes along.
Amazing Spider-Man #30
Spidey goes one last round with the new and improved Doc Ock. Can his newest ally help turn the tide?
Rated T
Very interested to see where Gronbekk is going with this new story arc and next issue’s cover with Doctor Doom’s mask makes this title a must read for now. Lashley’s art shines through every single panel.
Venom #23
A NEW VISION OF TOXIN! Toxin is the offspring of the most dangerous symbiote in the history of the Marvel Universe: CARNAGE. But while Carnage and Cletus Kasady are separated and both devising machinations and plans of cosmic bloodshed and conquest, what has its progeny been doing? And will Dylan Brock or the Venom symbiote survive when they come f...
