One of the best 1st issues I’ve read. Excited to dive into the rest of this. Art was great as well.

Great art and fun story. Wish there was more depth to the story though.

Long Way from home was a great teaser story for Jason Aaron’s upcoming run which has me giving this a 9. Monster island felt more like Sophie Campbell’s turtles which isn’t appealing to me.

The art was well done but the story was lacking substance. Spent too much time on fleshing out a dead character for a first issue instead of focusing on the anomaly in the valley. Doubt I pick up the 2nd issue.
