Would anyone else rate this as a ten out of ten issue? Possibly not. But here's why I did... Yesterday was a horrid day. One of those really bad ones. I didn't think that I was going to be able to switch my mind off from all the horrible things buzzing around it and actually get some sleep. So I read this issue. It made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me forget for a moment the grimness of the previous 24 hours and ended the day much better than I thought it could. Not bad for just a silly Bat-Mite comic! It had a proper and profound emotional affect on me and I will always remember that. So top marks! Anyway, thenseries as a whole has been silly, stupid, and very funny. The final page had me giggling like an idiot. I hope it comes back soon.

On the verge of giving up with this. The story just doesnt seem to be getting anywhere. This issue in particular finished in almost exactly the same situation as it started. Might give it one more issue and drop it if nothing has moved on. Shame really because the characters are nicely defined and the art is lovely. But the story needs to start getting somewhere as it's getting really frustrating.

Oh no, Templesmith's gone! I absolutely adored his art style in the first five issues so was slightly disappointed to find him replaced as of this issue. Still, Ferreyra is a great artist too so I am sure the new style will grow on me. Writing remains top notch.

Jeepers! What a cliff hanger! Didn't see that coming at all. Such a shame this book is being cancelled. It is soooo good.

I enjoyed this and am intrigued with the premise of the next issue basically being a heist movie (except with super-powered beings and a planet full of AIs). I'm pretty new to comics having only read trade paperbacks before and I used Convergence as a jumping on point (having done my homework with the various Crises) For me, I like that I can carry on following the Telos story set up in Convergence in a fairly self-contained way in this series. Looking forward to the next issue now that the exposition (presumably) has been dealt with.

Ah now that was loads of fun! A heist. A motley crew including Captain Carrot. What's not to like?
