Sabrina has to face the Witches Council for an accusation of conspiring with a mortal against the Church of Night. It will take a series of unnatural tests to prove her innocence, but none of it will bring her beloved Harvey back. She'll have to take matters into her own hands to find Harvey's missing soul. Recruiting two other young witches (from a neighboring coven), Sabrina holds a séance, but as ever, Madame Satan is pulling the strings behind the scenes, and what Sabrina taps into is much more dangerous - and diabolical. And will send our beloved teen witch on an epic quest. For TEEN+ readers.
This is not a series for the easily unnerved, but it's a modern horror comic that is at least as strong as anything else on the shelves, arguably even more so. Beautifully terrifying, CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA #5 is nothing short of creepy excellence. “By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes.” And I will be waiting for it. Fans of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be glad of its long awaited return and the pace with which it picks up the story. Aguirre-Sacasa and Hack continue to create a book that plays horror against teenage angst in a way that feels unique and does not merely result in a slasher story. Well written and masterfully illustrated, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #5 was well worth the wait. Read Full Review

There's not much else I can say except this: If you like mystery comics or scary books but don't read this series, start. If you do read it and don't have this issue, get it immediately. It has been nearly a year since the publication of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #4, and, if I remember correctly, there was a long wait between the publication of the first two issues of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the third and fourth issues. The previous four issues have been fantastic, so the length of time to grow Chilling Adventures of Sabrina installments were worth the wait. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina #5 is so good that I can't be mad. It is certainly worth the wait. Yeah, I'd like to read it more often, but while reading issue #5, the long delay between it and the fourth issue was the last thing on my mind. Read Full Review
This book creeps me out so much I started having a panic attack after reading the diabolical incantation. This is of course the fault of Aguirre-Sacasa, who along with his Afterlife work is scripting some of the best work we have seen in the horror comic genre. If we have to wait almost a year in between issues for any comic book, it better be as good as Chilling Adventures of Sabrina! Read Full Review

For the uninitiated,The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, is a far cry from the original comics from the 60's"and an even further cry from the teen sitcom with the talking cat from your childhood. With the contempt shown by Archie to their readers though massive delays between issues, I was ready to give up. However the comic is just too good to drop. It is genuinely creepy and I really hope Archie can get their act together and maintain some sort of a regular schedule.
