All those little shadows and shapes that Faith catches at the peripheral of her vision start to take shape. There are omens. These events and details have Faith unsettled, but she moves past them with her attention drawn to something new: the Devil.
Faithless is a spectacular read and contains gorgeous art work. It's erotic and disturbing in equal measure. A must read comic. Read Full Review
This series is bubbling along nicely. By know, readers should be used to the amount of sex and nudity that is on show. It will interesting to see how much further Faith can lose herself and when with the bounce back, if there is any, she will attempt to find herself anew. Read Full Review
"Faithless" #3 makes for a solid, if niche, comic, but only if you've read the first two issues. Read Full Review
Faithless continues to be a frustrating read because there is are so many possibilities for it. Instead of focusing on the traumatic mystery, Azzarello emphasizes the erotic elements of the book. Llovet's art makes these scenes look great, but I can't help but feel that we are losing out on tons of wonderful worldbuilding in an attempt to arouse the reader. Read Full Review
This issue, like much of Faithless so far, reads like a storyboard, a concept ready for some life to be poured into it. Read Full Review
Overall, this will be my last review ofFaithless. It's direction shift and shock jock scripting is frustrating. Sadly, this limited series is one that I have been waiting for and I'm saddened to see where it is now with only two issues left. I will be following Llovet's work, but that's the only takeaway I have from this series. Read Full Review
If you like the last two your gonna like this one... I love the horror black magic sex shit. It's done well. Shocking and beautiful.
I liked this more than the previous issue. I feel like the death here doesn't really feel like it matters. There are interesting elements on the fringes of this story but the focus of it is still very middling and insipid. But I'm not having trouble getting through it either. It feels like the equivalent of that TV show you only watch in the background. It passes the time.
I want more of the creepy magic stuff! Bring me more creepy magic!
