Brian Wood has synced the tension between his many different plot lines and here he kicks them all up a notch at the same time. Mon Mothma flexes her authority, Colonel Bircher shows why his mindset is so dangerous for the Rebels, and Han Solo gets his flirt on. Then I remembered, oh yeah, nothing happens to Luke and Wedge because I've seen Return of the Jedi. That is what makes this series an amazing pleasure to read. Even though you already know the outcome, the story is written and the artwork is drawn in such a way that you forget everything you know and just focus on the here and now. Any series that can do that on a consistent basis is worthy of all accolades it can carry. Read Full Review

Overall this is another great entry into this great series by Brian Wood, the concurrent stories do detract a bit but I'm sure this series will read amazingly well in a collected format. Hopefully there will be a great hardcover collection at some point, of course depending on how many issues this series ends up having. I'd also like to remind any readers out there that this series is perfect for any Star Wars fans out there that may have stayed away from other Star Wars series for fear of being lost within the long standing Star Wars extended universe lore, this series does not need any of that previous knowledge and only requires you have seen the original trilogy films. Prithi may not be able to wait long enough to help her friends escape, but her quick thinking alerts the Rebel Fleet to the impending Imperial attack led by the overconfident Bircher which just may be the key to reuniting the two pilots with their friends. Worth a look. Read Full Review
It's good, no doubt about that, but it does leave the reader a bit disappointed. The revealing moments for the series as a whole make this worth checking out and the art is exceptional. Unfortunately it left a few plot points as if they were chores to get through. Read Full Review

Brian Wood seems to have aced the Star Wars tone. There are a lot of things to love in this book. Wedge gets some attention for once and its just action packed from start to finish.
A great issue that continues to split 3 plot lines pretty effectively. each issue packs in a lot of story, plot and character.
