If you're a fan of the simian side of DC Comics, this will be an instant buy, but for most, I'd say curb expectations. For an April Fool's issue, the anthology generally lacks humor. It's more of a highlight of just how robust the monkey/ape side of DC Comics is, which is silly enough for fans to enjoy. Read Full Review
John Layman knocks it out of the park AGAIN! How does he do it! He's so amazing! He's, like, some kind of man-god. A giant among men in the comic writing scene. I could just go on and on about how great JOHN LAYMAN is!!!!!
I wasn't expecting much from this, but the Detective Chimp story was actually pretty good.
