You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff May 10, 2025

Its kind of weird to think of all the different formats there have been for superhero team script formats over the years. What Thompson is doing with her run on Birds of Prey seems like a natural outgrowth of the evolution of the concept of characters in the field being aided by Barbara in a command center as everything goes to hell. Birds of Prey #21 is another good issue that's in running for best of this series. Thompson finally seems to have found the sweet spot for what a Birds of Prey story should be. Banter between Dinah and Babs finally sounds right and Barda is the best she's been so far. Thompson can't stay away from things that don't work like Megaera and her unnecessarily large cast, but those aspects play a much smaller role in this issue. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Jeremy Bernard May 7, 2025

I wouldn't recommend this series to anyone that isn't already invested. If you're still following then you're probably enjoying what's going on but I wonder if anyone is actually going crazy over this series?Score: 5.5/10 Read Full Review
