Paco and Brenda are visiting Palmera City, but they aren’t alone. Jaime’s new foe, Fadeaway, comes seeking the Blue Beetle’s help! It’s time for a good old-fashioned heist! Their target? Kord Industries!
A series that is just what the world needs to bring the fun back into our lives. The series is really beginning to take off and is now a series that I look forward to coming out, a definite must read series. Read Full Review
Blue Beetle Graduation Day #4 delivers the fun once again. The Jaime character story is compelling, but so far Trujillo has kept it relatively light as he builds toward a potentially explosive ending. With this issue the series continues to be a visual feast as well. Indeed, Im having a lot of fun with Trujillos story but I also have no problem just staring at Gutirrez and Quintanas rich pages. If youre looking for a fun comic, this should be on your pull list. Read Full Review
Overall, this is an enjoyable series that takes Jaime into the next phase of his life, although I'm still feeling like this character has lost a stepthe series hasn't quite explained why he lost his ambition and momentum at some point. Read Full Review
Blue Beetle: Graduation Day has been simply stunning from the very beginning, but issue #4 might just be one of the series' best looking issues yet. Read Full Review
A good issue where Jaime hits a low point after messing up Victoria's lab and letting Fadeaway flee the scene. Everything that comes before was solid setup, featuring enjoyable dialogue and solid character work with Jaime. The setup at the end with Batman and the other heroes peaks a bit of interest as well, as it seems like Jaime will be coming face-to-face(s) with some prominent DC heroes in the very near future.
