A stunning issue that has done its best to prepare my heart and soul for what comes next, Catwoman #45 has me on edge, heartbroken, and smiling at its beautiful construction through the tears. Valentine has carried out a majestic tale of woe, love lost, and regret here, and I feel both blessed for having read it and raw for knowing that its all about to end. Read Full Review

Returning to Geri Powers' speech about the collider she built under Gotham in Batman #45, Catwoman seems to be poised on the brink of the clearest example of how that metaphor typifies the best storytelling to come out of the New 52. In the meantime, be sure to check out the return of our BAMF Women Superheroes series of personal essays with Melanie Burke's thoughts on what makes Valentine's Selina meaningful to her in The Double Life of Selina Kyle. I rated the last few issues of Catwoman pretty highly and will continue this month. The story is solid if not my cup of tea. I know that many people really love Valentine's Catwoman run and I enjoy the book but because I'm not so much of a gangland story fan I can't really get too excited. However, it is solid Selina so I get why people enjoy it so much. Read Full Review
