While these cartoon team-up books are not known for their gripping stories, occasionally one will be fun to read. Unfortunately, this one wasn't it. The majority of this story is an origin story for Speed Buggy, which would have been ok if the story didn't try to be a complex, speed force, timeline changing story. This wasn't a terrible book, but it also wasn't really good enough to justify more than a 2.5 out of 5, with the caveat that I'm not a huge fan of either character to begin with, and this did nothing to change that opinion. Read Full Review

For Wally West fans, this special is a must read. For Speed Buggy on the other hand, I love how Lobdell integrated this character into the DC Universe, and almost made me wish that he was actually part of the Flash Family. Overall, a great issue!

Long exposition monologues that serve no purpose, awful cringe-worthy jokes, broken postures, and disjoined paneling. Who thought Scott Lobdell or Brett Booth were good ideas?
