It's the end of Earth 2 and while that might seem like a depressing story to be following, I'm surprised at how much I've enjoyed it.  It's been a series that's taking it's time to reveal what's going down, but since it's weekly it really hasn't hindered the story at all.  It's fun and the prospects of things to come are exciting as hell with great art wrapped around it, so there's really no reason that you shouldn't be reading about your favorite heroes of Earth 2.  So since you've got some extra time on your hands thanks to the holiday weekend, go out and pick yourself up some Earth 2: World's End and see how hard it is to be a hero on a dying world. AIPT - Jordan Richards Nov 26, 2014

Like with most issues, this was just alright. Not bad, but just alright. The story remains fairly interesting, more twists and turns keep on appearing, the characterization is decent, and all of that. However, at this point, the story does feel a bit tiring to a certain degree. It's tiring in the sense that the heroes never catch a single break and bad shit keeps on happening relentlessly. There's never any victory, no sense of payoff, nor any moment to breathe. The book just constantly keeps piling on the amount of bad crap that can happen to the characters and any form of victory they may achieve is instantly taken away from them. It's frustrating and makes you want to see some upbeat or positive happen for once. Most Memorable Moment Read Full Review

As I've said, this story jumps around too much to gain any traction anywhere. I don't see how Earth 2 can survive what it's already been put through. And there are still so many characters connected to the Golden Age they haven't gotten to; I hope they get the chance before this world meets its rumored end. Read Full Review

Every other issue made me feel at least like the plot was heading in some sort of a direction but not here. Its sad. Read Full Review

Some gross artwork holds back the scattered story as World's End pushes forward as a title that has been quite the disappointment so far. Oh, and if you have to tell me not once, but twice in the editor's notes to "Check Out (Insert Comic Here)" you are failing at your job as an editor and a writer. Read Full Review

Earth 2: World's End #8 may very well be the weakest issue of the series thus far. While there's some decent writing and art, it's just far too crammed with subplots for any progress to be made. Next week really needs to bring some excitement to help the title bounce back. Read Full Review

Starting to buckle under the burden of being a weekly just like Future's End which has been heavily afflicted with rushed artwork and subpar writing. The artwork is still good for World's End especially when compared to this week's god-awful pencils from Tom Raney in Future's End 30. The story kinda goes nowhere this week and the Furies are losing steam as the big bad villains they're supposed to represent. However, Barda and Fury (Wonder Woman's daughter) return to Apokolips so next week should provide some thrills. This issue is mostly forgettable. I haven't followed Batman Eternal but so far I wouldn't recommend DC to continue this weekly titles experiment. It's possible to pull off but DC just hasn't been putting enough time and effort more
