Mister Miracle and the World Army prepare their final assault on Apokolips!
If the writers gave this book some room to breath instead of throwing thins at us at breakneck speed then this book would be great. With that said, I still really enjoyed myself. Read Full Review

Another 50/50 split between the good and bad parts of this issue. The reason this issue scored higher than the last is because the good was very good. Still, plot holes and jumps in logic hinder his series from fulfilling its potential. Read Full Review
This issue comes off as a bit of a filler issue, but does manage to get a few stories going along the way. That's the biggest problem with these weekly gigantic stories is that it takes so long for something to happen. Every time I read one I have flashbacks to watching Dragon Ball Z as a kid and waiting for the good guy and the bad guy to start fighting. Even with my gripes about how slow things are progressing, it's still a fun series with great characters, so that alone should send you flying to your LCS to get your hands on this parallel world fun. It's just the reality that not every issue can blow my mind that kills me. Read Full Review
Earth 2: World's End #7 aims high but falls a bit short. The progression isn't in large supply, and the action was a let-down. But we do get quite the “oh crap” ending. Hopefully next week will payoff in a way that this one failed to. Not a complete stinker, but a disappointment. Read Full Review
I think things look bad for Earth 2 in general. I'm hoping we're not about to see either a wholesale slaughter or a massive evacuation with the characters being shoe-horned in to the main Earth. I guess we'll see before too much longer. Read Full Review
I enjoy the fast pacing of World's End and how it is tying in with the monthly Earth 2 book. However, with a story pace this fast, I'm wondering how they're going to stretch it to 26 issues. Alan Scott reconnects with his bf/ new white avatar Sam and Helena is captured by Dessaad and at the end we get an ominous surprise. The fact that Mister Miracle exists in Future with several of the Earth 2 heroes suggests that Earth 2 is essentially doomed and this is losing battle. I think once Darkseid shows up, things should get very interesting and I'm actually hoping that some of the consequences of the Godhead event (which is now essentially also a weekly if you think about it) make it into the World's End storyline.
I used to LOVE this title to death (well, the monthly title actually), but since it has returned in both its weekly and monthly formats, I have been less than impressed by it. It's too much information, too quick and too many characters. Gives me headache every week, and this week, it as no exception.
