While out shopping for new outfits at the New Gotham Mall, Harley and Ivy stumble across a possible recruit...but are they recruiting for good or for bad? And what loser(s) would dare to show up and ruin their shopping extravaganza? A very pissed-off Clock King and a butthurt Riddler. Meanwhile, Nightwing and Batgirl follow up on a lead that sends Harley reeling...as many villains' plans come to light. Everyone is out to tear our girls apart!

For a comic series that takes its lead from an established story line with predisposed personalities, I am beyond impressed. It's witty, charming, and holds some of the soul that makes the animated series so enjoyable. All of that, plus all the little details, make such a big impact. I wholly recommend this series as a pickup just for the sheer enjoyment it brings. Read Full Review

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: Legion of Bats! #2 is another great issue of the mini-series that introduces some great new characters, gives us a few juicy subplots and laughs, and ends with a great cliffhanger. Highly recommended. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - Collier "CJ" Jennings Nov 15, 2022

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series Legion of Bats #2continues to feature all of the character development and outright debauchery that made the animated series a hit while putting its spin on the Batman mythos. Once again, I recommend reading it if you're waiting for Season 4 of Harley Quinnor if you want to know why the show's so beloved. Read Full Review

With the show off the air and the third season not exactly lighting a fire under me with enjoyment, I'm really digging this series and what it's doing. It feels like in some ways it's able to go more all-in on the relationship and the physical-fun side of it as well as with the dialogue. And that kind of openness about the pairing means it works even better. It's definitely a lot of fun to see them navigating things here and Ivy trying to figure out how to be the one in charge while Harley struggles working with the “batfam” as she puts it. We get a decent subplot here with Batgirl and Nighwing in dealing with Lady Firefly but it's more just to showcase some action and connections to Harley it seems like. Read Full Review

Geek Dad - Ray Goldfield Nov 15, 2022

The dialogue here can be a bit much at times, in its over-the-top crudeness, but there's a good-natured streak to it and it's great to see the writer's commitment to representation in little ways over the course of the narrative. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Jackson Luken Nov 15, 2022

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series: Legion of Bats! #2 splits its time between light romance and setting up the main plot for the series. For the most part it succeeds. It continues to struggle with handling the show's conflicts without being allowed to resolve them, but when it gets to focus on its own story it manages to manage to be sweet while still providing a fun adventure for the characters.
