Nightwing alerts Khandaq about Amazo's attack on Delhi, Batman puts his team on notice, and Superboy prepares for combat.
The story itself, unsurprisingly, is fantastic. I'll spare you the details beyond saying that Tom Taylor delivers his usual mixture of high drama and rising action with a few moments of comedy along the way. I will also say that if you dislike certain infamous aspects of the movie Man of Steel or are a fan of Young Justice, you will want to check out this issue for its ending sequence. Read Full Review
The art is still so good even with the two separate artists. But are awesome and they really know how to make AMAZO look utterly terrifying and make Superboy look classically heroic. Hopefully, it lasts. Read Full Review
Injustice 2 Chapter 44 was a strong issue that set-up a lot of moving parts that will be converging together to face off against Amazo. Tom Taylor did a fantastic job getting over the major threat to the world that Amazo presents. That menacing threat made the ending with Superboy deciding to return to action added a sense of hope to everything going on. And with both Batman and Wonder Woman's forces answering the threat of Amazo there is a lot to look forward to what happens in the upcoming chapters of Injustice 2. Read Full Review
Injustice 2 has been one of the things I look forward to week after week as a dose of connection with a range of characters that I don't follow in the mainline books. The story is fun, takes chances, really puts characters in danger, and builds to some big events where the consequences get to be dealt with. It's a solid looking book in both of its main sequences and there's a lot to like here as a piece of a larger whole. Read Full Review
Injustice 2 I'm a little bit down on this week, with a heavy setup issue, getting our pieces into place for an epic battle to come. This title however still looks consistently great and I have faith in Tom Taylor to deliver an epic conclusion to come. Not a place to jump on for newbie but good setup for long time readers. This book is consistently good. It may not always be amazing week after week but I never feel let down either.
I know it sounds like s huge undertaking BUT if you had the time to go back to issue 1, I know we're on 44, and read it the entire way through, you'll be happy you did.
It's a fast read! Real fast! And honestly, more comics should take a page out of this style.
As for the story, it's what you've been dying for in a Justice League book for maybe 3 years now.... maybe since Darkseid War!!!
You get all your favorite heroes and villains in this story.
As for this issue, We start with Diane and Black Adam training Kara to find that Ra's as unleashed Amazo. Damian warns them of t more
