Comic Vine - Gregg Katzman Aug 27, 2013

There's no question I'd give this issue a 4.5 if I had the ability to give half-stars. Superman's decision to continue attacking Ollie feels a bit too drastic based on how we've seen him conduct himself. It almost seems like an abrupt push to turn him into the evil man we know in the game. But, despite that personal gripe, what follows is masterfully handled and delivers a wicked emotional punch. Overall, I did indeed love this issue and the sheer emotion it made me experience vastly outweighs my complaint over how we got there. Because of that, this is yet another chapter that'll earn 5-stars. Read Full Review

I won't even try to predict what's going to happen next in this series. I assume it is heading to a point where it will meet up with where the game picks up, but I don't know for sure. All I know, and all readers need to know is that this is a wonderful series. If you're a fan of either the New 52 Universe or the video game, you need to be reading this. It's only $.99 which is quite a steal for such an amazing story. Read Full Review

Once again, if you are not reading this book then you are not doing yourself any favors. This isn't another civil war among superheroes. This is them fighting for their ideology and what that stands for at this moment. That is what Tom Taylor has challenged and displayed time and time again. Doesn't pull any punches either given that someone human such as the Green Arrow could suffer such a fate. Read Full Review

Nerds On The Rocks - Frank Fuentes Aug 28, 2013

Just like Justice League #23, this book did an excellent job leading into villains month. The twist at the end came naturally and readers are left wanting more while being satisfied with the way the story concluded. Manapul and Buccellato successfully brought Reverse Flash into the New 52 in a way that makes the character even more compelling than before. Be sure to pick up The Flash #23.2 next month for Reverse Flash's origin! Read Full Review

Weird Science - Jim Werner Aug 28, 2013

Injustice : Gods Among Us #33 continues Tom Taylor's great streak.  Green Arrow shows what a hero does when he has no hope and Superman shows what a man does when he's pushed too far.  A sad moment in a tale full of sad moments to come. Read Full Review
