INJUSTICE: YEAR ONE had one explosive event after the next in virtually every issue. With INJUSTICE: YEAR TWO, you can tell Taylor's moving all of the pieces into place and building up the tension before we're hit with something legitimately massive. Sure, there's shocking and thrilling moments here and there, but you can really feel the story inching closer and closer to something game-changing. At any rate, this series is still a real teat. It remains well-written and looks solid. This isn't just a must read series for fans of the game. It's a must read series if you enjoy great writing, and that's something everyone appreciates, right? Injustice: Year Two #4 is more substance than shock. Tom Taylor is bringing plot threads together while showing the motivations of each side. It may boil down to Superman Vs Batman, but it's the other characters and how Taylor writes them that makes this book so good. Overall a solid issue ofInjustice Gods Among Us " Year Two that served it's purpose in putting everyone where they need to be for what comes next. What keeps you drawn in at this point is seeing all these heroes on edge at the very thought of what the other side is capable of or will do to get ahead of the other. They have already proven how far they are willing to take this and from that one confrontation that took place in this issue, you can tell that something bad is going to be coming their way. I actually realized I was holding my breath for the last few pages... talk about tension. Awesome issue, not nearly as much action as other issues but still just as good if not better than most.
