I've loved this series from the beginning, and this issue just builds the anticipation. Read Full Review
There's definitely a sense that the pieces from across the series' run are starting to fall into place, and when you factor in the various Easter eggs and powerful moments of the overall issue, there's a lot that's worth celebrating. Read Full Review
Honestly, I think this issue is a marked improvement from previous issues " it leans into the elements of the book I find genuinely thrilling, and it gives me hope that the final entries of Criminal Sanity will wrap this tale up in an exciting and satisfying manner. That being said, the snail's pace of a release schedule doesn't do anything to help my feelings towards the thriller; no matter how good or bad the story gets, you're better off waiting for the trade. Overall I thought the issue was I don't know. Fine? Look if you have not read this series yet but are interested, wait until the trade. It is an interesting story but I feel like issue to issue we are doing the same things over and over again and nothing progresses the story. You cannot be doing that with such a long and inconsistent release schedule. I was extremely interested in this book, now I don't really care. This book started in 2019. I hope the ending blows me away. Art was fantastic though. Read Full Review
So yes, the story doesn't work for me. The art is pretty spectacular though, and much better than the script deserves. Suayan particularly is doing the art of his career. He really only gets better. Besides that though, this book sinks under it's own weight. Read Full Review
" The moment i saw her body my whole life changed. I lost the person who was the closest thing i had to family. The only person who had never let me down. Something inside me broke in a way that couldn't be fixed. Or maybe i didn't want to be fixed. Maybe some part of me knew that i'd need to stay broken to avenge her. "

This series drags and this is just the continuation. The Joker's murders here are not as over the top as the previous issues, and I kind of dont care about Harley's revenge quest revealed in this issue. This is like reading a Law & Order comic. And I don't really like Law & Order. I just thought this was a mini-series , but 7 issues in, I am just in too deep.
