This is an pretty solid run, but it has a groove it wants to fit in and it doesn't seem to be changing anything up for All In. Read Full Review

Williams and Melo bring their A-game to All In, revamping the series with their cute comedy, touching sentiments, gorgeous art, all topped off with the promising return of a key villain. Read Full Review

I personally feel this is the best creative team we've had on this book. The art and writing in Power Girl #14 really mix well to bring these characters and situations to life on an entirely different level. My only critique is another character is allowed in on Paige's identity on what seems like a whim. Not that she really needs an alternate ID (Kara, Conner, and Kenan seem to do fine without one), but I fear she's being too reckless about having one. Read Full Review

DC Comics News - Matthew Lloyd Oct 23, 2024

The sort of "can't tell verdict on last issue is swayed by the poor quality of Power Girl #14. It seems like it really is just bad writing (and complete and utter lack of understanding and respect for the character) on Williams' part that Power Girl #13 appeared to provide hope for a good turn. Williams must be blackmailing people at DC for this book to still be published. It's expiration point was after the first arc that ended in issue #4. Williams is well beyond her skill as a writer to depict Power Girl. She's connected the dots on some of the plot elements, but overall this series is a disaster of almost unparalleled proportions. Well I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The writing and plot are light and fun, the art is nice and the villain is interesting as well. I've enjoyed this whole run for the most part.

Ok so for full disclosure this got a +1 because Omen apparently died at the end. I cannot wait to be done with that character.

Also Ejecta seems like meh character that came out of nowhere but she is outsmarting PG and Omen and making their lives hard so that is great. I dislike PG and despise Omen so much at this point, any challenges they face at this point are good.

I think I got a small chuckle out of the shower scene, and that was probably the highlight because Omeans apparent death. Axel continues to be the best part of this issue (he is like a 6.5/10 the rest bring it down).

    Art is good.

I am a huge fan of Power Girl. To me, she's one of the most underutilized characters in the Super-Family (sadly overshadowed by Supergirl). She’s a more mature and assertive version of Supergirl, who also doesn’t take herself too seriously. The series by Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner is a real delight and deserves more recognition. This series, however, is written by an author who doesn’t know Power Girl, doesn’t like her defining traits, and has no interest in writing about Power Girl. So, they create their own character, who just carries the name for clout. It's the kind of mediocre series published without anyone really knowing why. (And besides me, for morbid curiosity, people really read it ?)
