Savage Dawn continues! Superman and Wonder Woman lead an army of gods and monsters against Vandal Savage and his deadly spawn!
Superman #49 is a great read! Superman is knocking his enemies around, Wonder Woman is knocking her enemies around– everyone is getting knocked around here! No complaints from me! Throw that in with great writing from Yang and what you have is an amazing issue. If you're a fan of action and slugfests then this is your issue– check it out! Read Full Review
In sum, there were some tiny aspects that drew me out, but overall a really solid Superman story. Its unfortunate that we finally got here, when the universe is about to change, but Im glad we did. Also, to see the two Superman meet in the next issue is something Ive been looking forward to, and Im sure itll be a great read. Read Full Review

As for this though, there isn't much story and the artwork won't "wow" you, but at times it does show us some heart and that turns out to be the most enjoyable aspects of this issue. Read Full Review
even though i have had it with New 52 Superman and it's relentless cross-overs and decided to finally drop this title, i had to see how this Kryptonite chemotherapy turned out???
and i have to admit this was a fun issue!!! while it was far from perfect there were still things about it i did enjoy. a few predictable cliches aside, i'm glad i read it!
