Can even this Superman save Lois from the deadly vengeance of Intergang? Or will young Jon have to be the one to step up to this challenge?
Clark concentrates, listening intently with his super-hearing, while Lois calls the cell phone of her publisher, Cora Benning. Identifying the sound of Coras Lois-specific ringtone, he locates the kidnapped editor and rescues her from the Intergang assassins who have forced her to reveal Author Xs identity. The story is incredible, the art is incredible, even with the filler third plot line that takes away from the main story. This is the only reason this book is not getting a perfect score. This is a fantastic series and I can't wait for the last 6 issues to see what role these characters will play in rebirth. Read Full Review
Another month, another great Superman: Lois and Clark issue. Dan Jurgens deftly juggles multiple plot lines with ease, giving us some big moments, but leaving the reader wanting more. It's all leading to an explosive ending, but I just want to slow down and enjoy it while it's still around. Believe me, I'm doing that and so should you. Read Full Review
Look, my complaints are quibbles. This is a great book which is telling a great story. I have been pretty impressed with the pace of this book, bringing together a lot of plot lines in a short time. And the art has been wonderful, bringing a classic feel to the proceedings. I can't wait to see how it all wraps up. Read Full Review
The Oblivion Stone- as I thought about what powers this object might contain, it occurred to me that this may play into DC Universe: Rebirth which is fast approaching. Oblivion might be the fate of some of the characters during the event. If you check out Junes Superman solicits it may reveal who that is. It might be a good idea to stick around Lois and Clark to see what it's all about. 4 1/2. Read Full Review
Dan Jurgens puts together some nice soap operatics in Lois and Clark #6, but ultimately, the heroes of this book continues to be Lee Weeks and Scott Hanna, who provide one of the more striking artistic tag teams of the entire DC catalog. Read Full Review
JON 🥺🥺❤️
excellent issue in a GREAT series!!!
i really don't know why this title isn't getting more attention! it's so much better that what we've been getting in the flagship Superman title and Action comics!
….some of the events were a little bit predictable? ….but it's what needed to happen in the story to get things moving.
i also really like the way the characters reacted in this issue to the 'Truth' cross-over that's been going on.
a very satisfying (and MORE importantly) FUN read!!!!!
