Azrael comes face-to-face with his most startling foe yet--an undying hierophant who feeds on the hearts of the innocent and molten lava. He dwells hundreds of feet below the Earth's surface, hidden away from prying eyes. He is the first son of St. Dumas and his is a most divine purpose.
I am very happy with this series. As I've said before it's not something I ever expected to get, so for it to be one of the best things DC is currently publishing makes me very happy. To sum it up, the writing and art are both great. It's that simple. You should be reading this. Read Full Review
Sword Of Azrael #4 is an action-packed comic. It's violent, fast-paced, and relentless. Brilliantly, it's also thoughtful, heartfelt, and textured. The art, colors, and letters are terrific and the team is continuing to produce a title that feels special and different from everything else out there. Read Full Review

I love this series so much !!!
So excited for the next part.
This series isn't very good. The art isn't good and the story isn't very interesting. The writer takes on the origin of Azrael and the order of Saint Dumas in a direction that was never intended. I've said it before and I will say it again this isn't Azrael this is some spin off alternative take that should be forgotten similar to the way Highlander II was never included to be actual cannon.
