As trouble continues to mount in Olympus, Wonder Woman begins to understand that the gods have taken a particular interest in mortals for the first time in centuries. Now, with her new partner, Wonder Girl Yara Flor, she hopes to defend Man's World from whatever the immortal beings are preparing...but will these Wonder Women be enough?
Its always fun to see two Wonder Women team up. Given the number of different incarnations shes had, one would think that it would happen a whole lot more often than it does. Yara and Diana are excellent together in a surprisingly nuanced action sequence that is contrasted with the terror of the Titan in the main feature. Bellaire has had the enviable position of being able to completely define her own version of Young Diana at the end of each issue. Shes shown steady progression and smart pacing in the life of the young hero, which has been great fun to see develop. Read Full Review
Wonder Woman #795 is even better than last issue and this story arc is not only moving forward in an interesting and exciting manner, but the creators are working at a very high level to deliver balanced action and character and something extra, too. The surprise appearances in both the main story and the back up, Adventures of Young Diana, work well. This issue should provide something for everyone! Read Full Review
Wonder Woman has a lot on her plate for the "Before the Storm" story arc, so it's only fitting that she calls in some help from the newest Wonder Girl, Yara Flor. While some fans might have wished for Cassie or Donna, the issue did a great job presenting the conflict between Yara and the manipulative god Eros. Read Full Review
Conrad and Cloonan end the issue with an interesting cliffhanger, but as always with their run its more a matter of them delivering a satisfying resolution that will determine if this arc proves memorable or entertaining. Read Full Review
Wonder Woman #795 steps up the action during a full-on assault by the Olympian gods on Earth. The motivation for the attack makes sense, and the action is entertaining, but Wonder Woman is treated like a sidekick in her own title, and the male characters are treated like mindless cannon fodder.
