Following their team-up with Batman and Superman, Power Girl and Huntress have some difficult choices ahead. What's next for the Worlds' Finest...and what world will they choose?
All in all this feels like the series is coming to a end. However I might be wrong and it's all just a gimmick to get readers to buy more issues of World's Finest. If you're like me you really want to see if these guys can make it back to Earth 2 and help out the heroes who are needing a lot of help. Let's see what happens next in the issues to come. Tying up the loose ends of the crossover and returning the the early structure of the comic, the latest issue gets the heroines back on track (although hopefully not any closer to going home as I'd hate to see them leave for the less interesting Earth-2). Worth a look. Read Full Review
So, all in all, another okay issue of Worlds' Finest. We get a nice flashback sequence ... without a clear reason why. We get a move towards a big shift in the book. And maybe we'll get a new artist. There are many things about this issue, penned by Paul Levitz, that will leave you scratching your head. There is more than one instance of downright distractingly strange dialogue exchanged between Power Girl and Huntress. Read Full Review
Even though I still don't know what happened in "First Contact" because I refuse to read the ending until Batman/Superman #9 comes out, all I've heard is that it was awful. But here we are again with what feels like a filler issue, because it takes an entire story for them to come to one conclusion, and it's even broken up with a flashback to something that has nothing to do with the story. I really want this title to be good, but reading it each month is becoming harder and harder. Read Full Review
There's good and bad in this issue. I like seeing Huntress as a detective. I even liked that there was a flashback to her time as a beginner (even though it comes out of nowhere with no context or connection). It sounds like maybe they'll go back to Earth 2 soon. This alone made me rank it higher.
