Zatanna #4 feels as though everything has been built and the pressure cooker is ready to explode so to speak. Jamal has brought her to her weakest point and is now bringing her to face a difficult choice and I cannot wait to see this story explode with magic and Zatanna not hold back. There's a great horror vibe to some of the scenes here, but at the same time there's a very intriguing mystery that might just center around Zatanna's mother and the stories she told her daughter. Compared to Zatanna's father, we know extremely little about her, and this story could be the chance to fix that. And above all, it's just incredible how good this one-man comic looks.
