We wrap up an entire month of Sonic the Hedgehog with an issue full of action and humor. This rebooted series is doing a great job at establishing the story of Sonic and his world while also appealing to older fans by referencing the past. This issue does that well and I think all readers will enjoy it. Read Full Review
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #4 takes the IDW Sonic series to new places. Not only do we get a new character, Tangle the Lemur, but Blaze the Cat returns as well. The action is brought to life by Evan Stanley and Matt Herms, who shift the tone of the comic from light-hearted to gritty and grim. ISSUE #4 shows just how far IDW Sonic can go in its exploration of the series " and I couldn't be happier. Read Full Review
Though there's a slight Eggman tease at the end, it's still unclear who exactly is pulling the strings and in what ways, but the action and variety of faces more than make up any slight narrative gripes. Read Full Review

A big step up for the story, great intro for more characters and that beautiful Evan Stanley art. I'm liking the direction the narrative is going but it would be nice if they gave a rundown on the backstory as this takes place after Sonic Forces.
The art is back up to the high standards of the first two issues and the action scenes were enjoyable. Also really loved how they Incorporated fan favorite character Blaze into the series. My only issues were that Ian could have gave Tangle a better Personality (Although her design is Perfect) and the big reveal was, well, pointless considering we known that the next arc was going to be the return of Dr. Eggman. But with all said, this is another entertaining Issue and a great Introduction to two new characters.
