This book continues to be a 5 out of 5 for me, and if you're not reading it, you get a 0 out of 5 for missing out on an amazing comic series. This book is not the TMNT you remember. It's better. This issue contains some amazing art and some great fight scenes between Splinter and one of Shredder's men. The Shredder redesign is great and he finally feels like a leader of a clan, and a man not to be messed with. Read Full Review

So thoughtfully crafted in both writing and art that you can upgrade this title from "guilty pleasure" to pure "pleasure." Read Full Review

IDW's new TMNT is trucking on with a sprinkling of great character moments; with the introduction of the big bad, hopefully the creative team can kick this book up a notch from good to great. Read Full Review
I'm a little surprised how quickly the Turtles have abandoned the sewers, but I'm happy to see that Splinter has finally confronted his old adversary (even if it does seem a little drawn out). Now he just has to make it out alive to give us the confrontation we really want to see – the first battle between the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Shredder. Worth a look. Read Full Review

The art is classic but is missing the original gritty style which added to the story. This isn't the strongest issue but is does show off Splinter and his connection to the Foot Clan. There isn't much you'll miss on the main story, but you will miss some good action. Read Full Review
Feels like this series has covered so much ground in only ten issues. This is a really great comic book series and this issue seems to take things in a much needed direction. This issue has focus and character development. I love the brothers getting to know each other and figuring out a plan. Splinter Vs the Foot was super dope as was Shredders whole bit. I love the reincarnation bit to this series, it is handled so gracefully just this entire issue.
