The Turtles' travel to the strangest planet of them all... one where all organisms function in perfect harmony... except for a group of new mutants who could destabilize the ecosystem of the whole planet. Mutants who aren't the TMNT!
Overall, the book and series are nonstop fun from top to bottom. A perfect balance of lighthearted silliness and explosive ninja action with so much character it'll make your heart swell. Read Full Review
The final issue of the series tackles themes of individualism versus collectivism, marginalization, and the impact of war. While TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES DIMENSION X #5 doesn't quite go out with a bang, the stage is set for the Trial of Krang in TMNT #74. As a standalone series, DIMENSION X has been a great expansion of the TMNT universe. Read Full Review

Writer Devin Grayson makes the most of that age-old struggle between duty to the many and individuality. Grayson also uses that conflict to shine a light on the Turtles and their family bond. Overall the TMNT Dimension X mini-series has been a success; we have gotten some great characters and interesting stories that will certainly fill in the gaps for the “Trial of Krang” story line. TMNT Dimension X #5 just happens to be not as good as the previous issues. It maybe that this is a weekly series and being the last issue the story line is a little played out. The characters introduced are not a great as the previous ones and the story is honestly just kind of boring. If you are heavily invested in IDW's TMNT Universe you are going to obviously want to pick this up and it is not all bad, but I would also say you could skip this and be totally fine. Now that all the witnesses have been found it is time to return to Neutrino for the Trial of Krang continuing in TMNT #74! Read Full Review
A classic ugly duckling-style tale, sort of.
a very fun issue, though i really do wish the art had been more developed.
not really much of an ending as this story is more of just a set up to future events in the ongoing IDW Tmnt series.
