Overall, the book and series are nonstop fun from top to bottom. A perfect balance of lighthearted silliness and explosive ninja action with so much character it'll make your heart swell. Read Full Review

    Comicsverse - Jhoan Suriel Sep 2, 2017

The final issue of the series tackles themes of individualism versus collectivism, marginalization, and the impact of war. While TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES DIMENSION X #5 doesn't quite go out with a bang, the stage is set for the Trial of Krang in TMNT #74. As a standalone series, DIMENSION X has been a great expansion of the TMNT universe. Read Full Review

Writer Devin Grayson makes the most of that age-old struggle between duty to the many and individuality. Grayson also uses that conflict to shine a light on the Turtles and their family bond. I do wish this issue offered more finality to the ongoing feud between the Turtles and Hakk-R, but it's likely that the constraints of the main series prevented a more definitive conclusion. Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Aug 29, 2017

Overall the TMNT Dimension X mini-series has been a success; we have gotten some great characters and interesting stories that will certainly fill in the gaps for the “Trial of Krang” story line. TMNT Dimension X #5 just happens to be not as good as the previous issues. It maybe that this is a weekly series and being the last issue the story line is a little played out. The characters introduced are not a great as the previous ones and the story is honestly just kind of boring. If you are heavily invested in IDW's TMNT Universe you are going to obviously want to pick this up and it is not all bad, but I would also say you could skip this and be totally fine. Now that all the witnesses have been found it is time to return to Neutrino for the Trial of Krang continuing in TMNT #74! Read Full Review
