A clever action intro leads to a new character and the trouble that surrounds her. I love the action, but the characters are so good, if Sakai wanted to have an issue devoted to characters just sitting and talking a table for an entire issue I would be a happy camper. The visuals are great, with the art beautiful and the colors increasing their power. This is a series that should be on everyone's pull list. Recommended. Read Full Review

After fighting off demonic puppets in the comic's opening arc, it's a nice change to see Stan Sakai take the rabbit ronin back to basics here, and introduce a new character (inspired by a real writer) worthy and in need of Usagi's help. Worth a look. Read Full Review

Perfection! Stan Sakai is a master of art and storytelling.
Sometimes a simpler is better, Usagi Yojimbo demonstrates this over and over.
