Bug Wars #3 gives us the hero turn of Slade and shows his uncertainty about his new role. Jason Aaron does a fantastic job of bringing humanity to all of these buggy characters. You really feel for the characters and the troubles and problems that they face. At the same time there is an underlayer of humor and of course some great action beats as well. Read Full Review
Overall, Bug Wars #3 passes the "limited series test" with flying colors. It's remained entertaining and engaging, even at the halfway point, and if the creative team has its way there'll be much more on the horizon. Read Full Review

BUG WARS #3 continues Slade's discovery of a miniature world at war when he's discovered to be the son of a revered figure. Jason Aaron's imaginative script gives you everything you like about Hard-R Sword & Sorcery from the 70s through the 90s, and Mahmud Asrar's art is gritty greatness. That said, Aaron's script gets excessive in the wordplay and nudity when it's not relevant to the story, so some readers may be put off. Read Full Review
