Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson Jan 2, 2018

With only two more issues to go until the conclusion of this series, things are heating up. I really do not know if I am emotionally ready for what Daniel Warren Johnson may or may not do these next two issues. Johnson has brought these characters to life so well and has attached the reader to them that I don't want to see them go through more grief. In issue #10, the story continues to be great and the artwork is beautiful. I say it every time, but if you only have money for one comic, then buy Extremity. You won't be disappointed. Comic Crusaders - Kevin Given Jan 5, 2018

I don't see many great sci-fi original comics out there anymore, most of what is there is adapted from either movies or novels. As a comic book and science fiction fan I yearn for the time when Space Opera was one of the norms in comic book format, Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers, Planet comics et al. Now, thanks to Image bringing us a diversity of titles and stretching out to avoid repetitive story telling and age-old comic clichs, titles like this can bring some diversity to the realm of comic books. The end of this issue has one of the protagonists (no spoilers) contemplating what has gone on and realizes that he might be fighting on the wrong side. A dramatic arc that will leave fans of this title wanting the next issue now! Read Full Review

The Brazen Bull - Dave Robbins Jan 3, 2018

With every issue Extremity shocks and provokes to tell a story full of conflict both of internal and global significance. There may be blood and gore aplenty, horrifying monsters (and some of those monsters aren't the humans), but this is also the story of the innocents drawn into the madness of vengeance and obsession. Newsarama - Justin Micallef Jan 8, 2018

With two issues left, Extremity is shaping itself to be an evocative example of how technique and theme can warp and manipulate one another. With its careful balance of thoughtfulness and dynamism, Extremity #10 indicts the cyclical nature of violence through the visual vocabulary of science fiction. As Johnson builds up to this series' upcoming finale, Extremity is looking to wrap itself up with a mighty bang. Read Full Review

    All-Comic - Joshua Hilgenberg Jan 5, 2018

Extremity #10 is, unfortunately, the intermission before the final act of this powerful series. The team of Wooton, Spicer, and Johnson shows their collaboration on the page like few other comics are able to do, and, most importantly challenge the reader. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Jideobi Odunze Jan 3, 2018

With only a few issues left in the series, Extremity #10 as they say is not pulling any punches. This is not just about a war between Roto or Paznina anymore, it is about saving these people from themselves. Extremity and this creative team has done a standout job of capturing what it means to be human. The pain, the compassion that you try to extend to those who need it most, the harm you do to yourself and others. All things that play a big part in this world and how it turns. Read Full Review
