The investigation continues. The Twin Peaks, Silence of the Lambs, Fargo sort of a fusion that Tyrion seems to be reaching for is satisfying enough. There isnt a great deal of insight into the natural of homicide and the human condition, but its rich and moody. Tynion and Hixson are crafting a unique tale in The Deviant #7 that touches on themes and ideas extremely close to me and other members of the LGBTQ+ community. I give Tynion a lot of credit for taking these big swings and hitting another home run in this issue. Even when it feels like darkness has fully engulfed your life and you have no hope left, sometimes you need a helping hand to help you swim to the surface and find the light. Read Full Review
The horror is strong inThe Deviant #7, which continues to lay the groundwork as one of the best character-acting comics you'll read with a very scary last few pages. The plot thickens as we inch closer to finding out who the killer really is in yet anther masterfully told issue. Read Full Review
This was a very good issue. It just felt interesting and had a good part with the boyfriend and the guy in jail.
