How do you follow up on a fantastic first story arc? By keeping the momentum going and issuing an equally impressive standalone story which gives further insight into the world of the syndicate and how the grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. Time Before Time #6 is the first part of the second storyline from Declan Shalvey and Rory McConville. Their take on time travel is one that is more unique than a number of the others that are floating in fiction. Seeing them moving the spotlight to new characters is a joy and hopefully, something that will help build the world of Time Before Time into something special! A great start to the second chapter. Finally, in 2140, the Syndicate members return to Helgis compound with Maloney. The Story: Shalvey and McConvilles have created an interesting side story regarding the character Maloney. It is interesting to see how the Syndicate is viewed by the people they relocate and how their lives are merely the means to an end for the group. There is also a fascinating dialogue regarding time travel and its repercussions held by members of the Syndicate that made me think critically about its pros Read Full Review
