Nerd Initiative - Mickey Smith Jan 22, 2025

I had a lot of fun reading this issue. It's well balanced via story and art. I've been so ready for something big to happen and this honestly felt like a penultimate issue of sorts. We're getting so close to world changing event. This issue does a great job of setting pieces in place and giving a couple of “HOLY CRAP!” moments. Void Rivals has felt like a great game of chess from the beginning and we are getting really close to a checkmate! Read Full Review

VOID RIVALS #16 is a tighter, cleaner issue that focuses on the major players as the series builds toward some major development, whatever it is. Robert Kirkman's script creates drama, action, and cool developments, and Lorenzo De Felici's artwork shows some impressive visuals in this issue. Read Full Review

You Don't Read Comics - Russ Bickerstaff Jan 24, 2025

Though it carries moments quite well, the overall space opera that Kirkman and company are bringing to the page feels pretty bland and without the kind of novelty that could drive the action. Theres a lot of intensity being presented, but not a whole lot of emotional connection to bring it all together. Clearly whats going on is of great importance to everyone on the page. It would be nice to be let-in a bit more on WHY its all so important. Void Rivals is clearly too busy delivering the intensity to let the reader in on much of what it is that drives all that intensity. Read Full Review
