This is a fun read so far, and the world building is as solid as the characters.

The Academy making it to the Carnival, especially in pursuit of one of their own through consolidated gangs aimed at them??!... has big time The Warriors vibes.
This whole book feels like Apocolyptic Teenage Future Fighting Warriors, and I love it. -

I was really interested to see how Rosenberg & Boss would handle the chapter-breaks as the page-count decreased, and I do think it harmed this issue, unfortunately. I still liked it a good amount, hence my rating, but it was also what I’d consider the weakest issue yet. A lot of fun stuff with the Academy heading to the Carnival, but I just wasn’t quite as into this as I was with the previous three issues. Hopefully this isn’t a sign of a downwards trajectory, though, again, I still really liked what we got here and I’m still invested.
