If you've read Chip Zdarsky stories (and you did because you reviewed a lot of his books here) and you ask me "what makes me think Zdarksy hates rich people" when even inside this book he literally goes on a tirade about rich people.... yeah, I have nothing for you, sorry. Man did you call that shit on your issue #1 review. I do enjoy Marco Checchetto's art a lot on this to the point where if I judged the book based off that alone I would give it an 8.5-8.7ish. The Ben Reilly stuff against Whiplash and Taskmaster is pretty good even though I'm not a Reilly fan but it was well told here. That Stark expression after the decision was made is an even worse red herring. I'm tired of villain Iron Man.

I absolutely loved 1-25 and the Annual of the Zdarsky run. Now, I just find myself slowly not caring anymore. I was down for Elektra as a temp replacement, but at the expense of Matt becoming a moron I will not accept. Talk about a 180.

Tony Stark is a rich white womanizing dude, and Marvel writers hate him for all of those ideological reasons. It's why lately he's been replaced or treated as a villain. I also think some of these writers are jealous on Tony's success in the MCU and because they can't replicate it in comics, they just decide to trash him. I wasn't impressed with his run, particularly because it was a guilt trip from Matt, and not a very good one at that, pretty unoriginal.

Plus he really made Matt a moron, like you said. I did enjoy how he wrote Elektra and Fisk. What bothers me overall so far here is the whole trashing of police and this ideological hatred. I also don't like that he made U.S. Agent a villain, mostly because he's doing it for political reasons. Daredevil deserves better than this treatment. And yes, Checchetto's art is good, he really knows how to draw a fight scene.
