Its a smart issue. Ayala and Peralta manage to keep Bishops presence at the center of the book even though he doesnt physically appear in the comic book until the penultimate page. Hes only seen for two whole panels, but the reader sees everything through his conceptual perspective. Its a very deft narrative construction. Quite an accomplishment. Read Full Review

Overall this book was pretty solid. It pulled me back in and now I'm hoping the other series have some exciting moments like this issue had. Age of X-Man has had it's ups and downs but this mini-series in particular has managed to stay pretty consistent all throught. Read Full Review

I liked this issue well enough, even if there wasn't much plot moving forward. I think it comes down to liking these characters and seeing a few of the cracks in this universe.
Proof (by negative example, unfortunately) that laying a caption-only conversation on top of an unrelated mostly-visual story is a lot harder than it looks.
Kind of messy, but interesting.
